The Piazzola pergola awning’s sturdy construction makes it the perfect option to provide shade in front of weak walls, in cases where a terrace roof would simply be too heavy. The spring mechanism concealed in its front frame keeps the fabric taught at all times. In the case of substantial spans, this mechanism in combination with the use of a fabric support roller minimises the amount of sagging of the fabric. The supports can vary in height, in order to create the required gradient. A gradient of 16 degrees is considered ideal for the discharge of rainwater. Furthermore, gutters can be incorporated in the side guides to prevent rainwater from dripping down the sides. The Piazzola pergola awning is endlessly linkable with just one centre support.
