The AVZ SolidScreen is used literally worldwide. And it was also chosen for this school in Sweden, which was keen to create both a pleasant working environment and healthy indoor climate for staff and pupils alike. The SolidScreen fitted with Tibelly screen fabric prevents the rooms from becoming too hot and reflects the annoying glare of the sun, while also keeping bothersome insects out and letting fresh air in.
In this case, the SolidScreen XS was selected due to its particularly slim side guides, which enable the production of headboxes up to four metres wide. The side guides and headboxes are finished in the same ochre yellow colour (RAL 1024) as the window frames, so that they all match. The combination of this colour and the Tibelly Sergé acrylic fabric in plain bronze (T71313) allows the screens to merge seamlessly with the building’s design, thus rendering it both a practical and aesthetic solution to prevent the ingress of annoying sunlight.
